Objectives:To do a correlation analysis study on plasma endotoxin levels in maintenance hemodialysis patients with micro-inflammatory status, malnutrition,dialysis-related amyloidosis, renal anemia, uremic toxins, as well as in dialysis-related adverse complications. Methods:Chose 30 cases of maintenance hemodialysis patients, blood samples were collected to measure plasma endotoxin levels,high-sensitivity CRP levels,β2-microglobulin levels, serum albumin levels, hemoglobin levels, urea and creatinine levels.Use Peason linear correlation analysis method to analysis plasma endotoxin levels and high-sensitivity CRP levels,β2-microglobulin levels, serum albumin levels, hemoglobin levels, urea and creatinine levels.According to plasma endotoxin levels the patients are divided into groups of high concentrations group and low-concentration group, respectively, recording the number of occurrence of adverse reactions in dialysis, such as hypotension, fever, nausea and vomiting,to count the incidence of adverse complications and do a chi-square test.Results:1.Endotoxin and hsCRP for Pearson correlation analysis:r=0.89,P<0.05; 2.Endotoxin andβ2-microglobulin for Pearson correlation analysis,r =0.85,P<0.05;3.Endotoxin and serum albumin for Pearson correlation analysis,r=-0.85,P<0.05;4.Endotoxin and hemoglobin for Pearson correlation analysis:r=-0.76,P<0.05;5.Endotoxin and serum urea nitrogen for Pearson correlation analysis:r=0.04,P=0.82;6.Endotoxin and serum creatinine for Pearson correlation analysis:r=0.078,P=0.68 7.The incidence of dialysis adverse complications between group of high concentration and low concentration are:(1) low blood pressure:25.3% and 18.6%,x2=53.7,P<0.05;(2) nausea and vomiting:17.8%and 13.3%, x2=8.96,P<0.05;(3)fever:15.2%and 8.1%,x2=26.4,P<0.05;(4) muscle cramps:16.3%and 12.5%,x2=6.03,P<0.05.Conclutions:1.The study found that the plasma endotoxin levels are associated with micro-inflammatory status,malnutrition,dialysis-related amyloidosis, renal anemia in maintenance hemodialysis patients.2.There is no correlation between the plasma endotoxin levels and serum creatinine levels, and serum urea nitrogen levels neither in maintenance hemodialysis patients.3.The study found that the plasma endotoxin levels will affect the incidence of adverse dialysis complications such as low blood pressure, fever, nausea and vomiting, muscle cramps.
