| Objective:To evaluate the activating blood to stasis's role on the pleural thickening who are patients with tuberculous pleurisy.The other aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of the activating blood to stasis to TGF-β1 in the hydrothorax.Method:60 patients conforming to the condition were randomly assigned to the treating group or to the control group.In the hospital:The treating group was treated with antitubercular agent,Paracentesis combined with the blood-activating and stasis' resolving drugs,and the control group was treated antitubercular agent and the Paracentesis.The course was ten days.When they discharge from hospital The treating group was treated with antitubercular agent combined with the soluble granules of Xuefu Zhuyu,one bag once and three times daily,and the control group was treated antitubercular agent only.The time of therapy are two months,in which to observe the changes of the TGF-β1 in the hydrothorax and the pleural's thickness before and after the treatment。Result:1.The pleural's thickness:The pleural's thickness between the two groups are similar pre-treatment(p>0.05).Following the same course of treatment,The pleural's thickness of the treating group is 3.67±0.81mm after ten days,the control group's is 4.49±1.74mm,they have significant difference(p<0.05).After two months,The pleural's thickness of the treatment group is 3.06±0.85mm,the control group's is 4.25±1.59mm,they also have significant difference(p<0.05).It showed that the therapy of the treatment group in reducing the effect of pleural thickening was superior to the control group.2.TGF-β1:TGF-β1 in the hydrothorax between the two groups are similar pre-treatment(p>0.05).Following the same course of treatment,they are weaker than the pre-treatment(p<0.05).TGF-β1 in the hydrothorax of the treatment group is 23.53±4.75ng/ml,and the control group's is 30.78±9.88ng/ml,they have significant difference(p<0.05) between the two groups.3.Alanine Transarninase(ALT),Glutamic-oxal(o)acetic Transaminase (AST):After ten day-treatment and two month-treatment,the two groups'ALT and the AST both have significant difference(p<0.05) than the pre-treatment.The control groups' ALT and the AST are to advance than the pre-treatment,and the treatment group are to decrease.After the treatment, The control groups ALT is 47.6±36.7mmol/L and the AST is 42.4±25.9 mmol/L.The treatment groups' ALT is 24.9±3.8mmol/L and the AST is 27.5±13.7mmol/L.They all have significant difference(p<0.05).It showed that the activating blood to stasis would reduce damage to liver function.Conclusion:To use the activating blood to stasis for the treatment of tuberculous pleurisy:It can reduce the TGF-β1's synthesis and secretion,wno is closely related with the pleural fibrosis。For these reasons,the activating blood to stasis can significantly to lighten the pleural fibrosis and thickness, to prevent the occurrence of pleural adhesions,to improve the prognosis of patients,who are tuberculous pleurisy,lt can reduce the damage to liver function,which is form antitubercular agent. |
