Intracranial hypertension is an important problem which is frequently encountered clinical work. When intracranial pressure is increased, there is specific changes in Transcranial Doppler ultrasound(TCD) spectrum, including spectrum waveform and blood flow parameters changes. A distinct correlation has been found between TCD spectrum and cerebral hemodynamics (CHD) parameters, while corresponding mathematical model can be established to monitor and evaluate the CHD state dynamically and noninvasively, which can assist the clinical diagnosis and treatment.Based on recent reports,we will reviewe TCD monitoring and evaluation of the CHD state during intracranial hypertension in this paper.
