Objective: To investigate short - term effects of Laparoscopic resection of small hepatocellular carcinoma。Methods : A comparison was made between 30 cases of Laparoscopic resetion of small hepatocellular carcinoma(Laparoscopic Group,LG)and 32 cases of Open resection of small hepatocellular carcinoma(Open Group,OG)from March 2005 to March 2008. The length of incision, postoperative venting time, length of stay in hospital, temperature,CRP and WBC,transaminase,AFP,complication, operative time and blood loss before and after the surgery between the two groups were compared respectively。Results:The mean of data of LG group was significantly less than that of OG group in such markers as length of incision, postoperative venting time, length of stay in hospital, temperature,CRP and WBC,transaminase (P <0.01).There were no significant difference of operation time ,AFP and blood loss between two groups( P > 0. 05). There was no complication in LG group, but incision infection and ascites occurred in 2 patients in OG groupConclusions: Laparoscopic liver resection of the small group of short-term efficacy is superior to laparotomy group,It is a surgical method of choice.
