| Ultrasound Hyper-therapy on ablating the tumor has been paying more and more attention to. Researchers are carrying out the research in the filed wildly at home and abroad. At present, researchers are paying their attention to high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU). But thermometry during the process of Hyper-therapy to the tumors has been keeping back the Ultrasound Hyper-therapy's further development.Conventional thermometry is carried out by several thermocouples inserted into the tumor. Only limited points' temperatures are obtained by this method. The destructive method of thermometry not only brings unnecessary pains to patients but also may result in the diversion of tumors.In this paper, the method of noninvasive thermometry during the process of ablating tumors by HIFU is researched in-depth. The law of temperature distribution in place of the biological tissues under the effect of HIFU and the change of the B-mode imaging of the tissue are researched. A set of noninvasive thermometry system is developed which includes mechanism, controls, application of computer. The system is specifically designed for the HIFU therapy. Its principle is that when tissue's temperature changes its B-mode imaging's grays'scales will change too. The key of the process of thermometry is to detect the variation of the B-mode imaging's grey scales of the tissue when the tissue's temperature changes. The image and data were processed by computer. According to the variation of the grey scale of the tissue's B-mode imaging, we can infer the variation of the tissue's temperature.Through experiment in vitro, vast data is acquired. With experiment data analyzed, this temperature estimation theory is proved valid and the estimation system feasible. |
