Purpose:Grasping feature and discipline of DTI parameter in white matter nearby lateral ventrical of normal children.Preliminary exploring DTI's clinical sense to leukodystrophy and its value in early diagnosing to abnormal children.Researching cerebral white matter fiber tract imaging feature in children and the changing of fiber tract at focus in abnormal children.Object and method:147 children were performed by using siemens 3.0T MR machine and was divided into five age groups according to international standard.Less than 1-year-old is group one;1-year-old to 3-year-old, group two; 3-year-old to 6-year-old,group three;6-year-old to 12-year-old,group four12-year-old to 18-year-old,group five.While they were divided into three group,which includ normal children(group a), abnormal children with normal in diagnosing by routine MR(group b) and abnormal children with abnormal by routine MR(group c) in the light of standard in selecting objects.Row data was imported to the siemens software workstation where ten symmetrical ROI was located at frontal lobe,temporal lobe, occipital lobe,parietal lobe and corona radiata,which obtain FA value,ADC value,VR value and RA value.Fiber tract imaging were prosessed by software named nordicICE using laptop.Result:There is symmetric relation about DTI parameter(FA,ADC,VR,RA) in children cerebrum by paired t test(p≥0.05). According factorial design,sex can't influence cerebral white matter's DTI parameter(p≥0.05),while spot and age can(p<0.05).We can draw a conclution that FA value and RA value is higher and higher from age group one to age group five while ADC value and VR value is opposite by comparason each other.That is to say,FA value and RA value show positive correlation with age while ADC value and VR value is opposite yet.There is difference between normal children at frontal lobe and parietal lobe and abnormal children at frontal lobe and parietal lobe with exceptional sign about FA vale,RA value,1-VR value and RA value by SPSS software,but unhealthy children with routine MR diagnosing normal and abnormal have no difference in FA,ADC,1-VR,RA value(p≥0.05).Brain white matter fiber tract imaging keep consistence with anatomical shape in normal children. Number of brain white matter fiber tract at focus side is less than pair side in two groups of unhealthy children and the shape of fiber tract is also in the shade.Conclusion:DTI can reflect growth law of myelin sheath of children brain white matter and it has clinical significance in discovering focus, especially early diagnosing leukodystrophy.
