Research On TCM Syndromes Of Chonic Heart Failure

Objective: To investigate the distribution regularity of TCM synmdrome patterns of CHF,to study the relationship between CHF syndromes in TCM and their causes,Courses,cardiac functions and serum lipid,to find the evolving rules of CHF syndromes .Methods:collecting 71 patients according to clinical diagnosis of CHF.Dividing the patients by differentiation standard and collecting their Serum lipid and Doppler echocardiography tests results to analyze the distribution regularity of TCM pattens of CHF and its ralationship to the levels of these tests results.Results:1.CHF are commenly distributed to five syndrom patterns:qi deficiency of heart and lung type,deficiency of both qi and yin type,qi-deficiency and blood-stasis type,yang deficiency of heart and kidney type,fluid retention due to yang-deficiency.2.CHF syndroms have relationship with their causes,among which the qi-deficency and blood-stasis type are mainly made up of coronary heart disease and deficiency of both qi and ying type are mainly made up of hypertension. what is more ,different causes result in different syndrome manifestation.3.CHF syndromes in TCM benging with heart-qi deficiency or heart qi and ying deficiency,chang slowly from yin to yang and deficiency leading to excess,then develop into ying deficiency or deficiency of both yin and yang,which leading to fluid retention.In additon syndroms vary with cardiac functions and disease courses.4.Obvious difference of LV and IVS can be found in different CHF syndromes.Heart-ying deficeincy and heart-yang deficiency are associated with the impairment of diastolic and systolic funtions.5.Obvious defference of serum lipid can be found in defferent CHF snydroms.Qi-deficiency and blood-stasis type have high level of serum lipid index,at the same yang deficiency of heart and kidney type,fluid retention due to yang-deflciency type have lowe level .Conclusion:CHF syndroms in TCM are the manifestations of combined effects of pathogeny,disease course , the impairment of diastolic and systolic fruitions and the level of serum lipid.
