Jiangtangmixture For Patients With Type 2 Diabetes Of Qi-Yin Deficiency Clinical Observation

Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of The treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus by the method of Supplementing the qi nourishing yin with JiangTangMixture(JTM) and Gliclazide.Method: 60 patients with type 2 diabetes of deficiency of Qi-Yin syndrome were divided into two groups by random, among these patients the treated group (30 cases) was treated by JTM and Gliclazide, the control group (30 cases) was treated by Gliclazide. Three-month was a course of treatment.We observed and compared the situation of patients in the clinical syndrome, FBG, PBG, GhbAlc and the change of blood lipid.Result:1. As for evaluating the total treating effect by TCM standard,the treating group did better than contrasting group(p<0.05), especially for polyria polydipsia, inertia and out of breath.2.Two groups could reduce significantly blood sugar, and the treatinggroup did better than contrasting group(P<0.05).3 .As for reducing blood lipid ,the treating group showed significant efficiency than contrasting group(P<0.01).Conclusion: JTM and Gliclazide has sure curative effect in treating type 2 diabetes mellitus by the method of Supplementing the qi nourishing yin.so it can decrease the blood glucose, lipids and relieve the clinical symptoms. there is no bad case and accident related to the JTM was found during the experiment, So the JTM is safe to use. We can draw a conclusion that supplementing the Qi, nourishing Yin can alleviate clinical symptoms of T2DM.
