Clinical Observation Of The Effect Of Avastin To The Intraocular Neovascularization

Objective To observe the result of neovascularization of the iris,retinal and choroidal after intravitreous injection Bevavacizumab(Avastin).Methods there are 27 eyes of NVI,48 eyes of RNV and 32 eyes of CNV, intravitreously inject Avastin 0.05ml(1.25mg).Observe the visual acuity,IOP,the fade of neovascularzation in iris,retinal and choroidal in pre- and post-operation.Result①16 eyes have no change in visual acuity in 27 eyes NVI,9 eyes increased,2 eyes decreased;3 eyes IOP in normal range before and after injection,10 eyes drop eyedrops can control IOP before and after injection,13 eyes IOP poor control before and after injection,5 eyes do 180°Ciliary body frozen and trabeculectomy,1 eye 180°Ciliary body frozen,2 eyes trabeculectomy,2 eyes PPV and PPI and PRP,2 eyes PPV and PRP and trabeculectomy.Postoperative IOP are both reduced the normal range.1 eye trabeculectomy surgery injection at the same time.Postoperative IOP fell to normal range:23 eyes after 1 week of injection,three eyes within two weeks of injection the NVI faded,1 eye much faded after injection.12 eyes review after 1 month 4 eyes were found NVI,8 eyes grow again NVI.②8 eyes have no change in visual acuity in 48 eyes RNV,but conscious vision clearer than before the injection,2 eyes HM to CF,7 eyes improvel line of vision, 7 eves more than 2 lines of vision;24 eyes final PPV and PRP,after 1 week visual acuity:3 eyes CF,1 eye 0.02,5 eyes 0.06,5 eyes 0.1,6 eyes 0.2,2 eyes 0.3,1 eye 0.4,1 eye 0.7;1 eye IOP after injection 1 to 3 days decline but in the 4th day return to normal range,Other eyes IOP in the normal range fluctuation before and after injection:FFA:RNV and NVD significantly shrink,contrast to the late vascular leakage reduce.③24 eyes of 32 eyes CNV have no change in visual acuity before and after injection,but post-injection consciously feel fixed shadow reduce,5 eyes increased by 1 line,2 up 2 lines,1 eve increased bv 4 lines:1 eye IOP decreased after injection 1 to 2 days but in the third day return to normal range,other eyes IOP fluctuate in the normal range before and after injection;FFA + ICGA:2 eyes CNV fade,5 eyes CNV smaller and leakage stopped.14 eyes CNV smaller and leakage reduction,11 eyes CNV no smaller but leakage reduce.Conclusion Avastin can be effective short-term inhibition neovascularization of iris,retina,choroidal.It provides a new method of treatment to the intraocular neovascularization.
