The Clinical Research In Treating Primary Dysmenorrheal Of Congealing Cold And Blood Stasis Type By Warming Acupuncture And Moxibustion

Background:Primary dysmenorrhea(PD) is a common Gynecology disease to young girls of puberty or young women of childless,even effecting normal lives,studies and wordObjective:to observe and evaluate the curative effect of warming acupuncture and moxibustion in Primary dysmenorrhea of stagnation of Congealing cold and blood stasis,and to disscuss the possible functional mechanism of it.Methods:60 patients from the acupuncture outpatient department in the first affiliated hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine were selected according to strict diagnosis criterion,divided to the treat group of 30 cases and the control group of 30 cases.Warming acupuncture and moxibustion therapy was used in the treatment group.Control group:took tianqitongjingjiaonang 4 tablets every time,3 times/day,paused in the third day of menstrual period.Record the data from the two groups,establish the database,analyze them by SPSS 13.0 software package.Results:the treat group totel effective rate is 70%,the control group reach to 70%,two groups have no statistical significance(P＞0.05).The data between before and after treatment has significance,but the same between the two groups has no statistical significance.The Warming acupuncture and moxibustion group has not obvious poisonous side effective,it is more secure than the other group(P＜0.05).Conclusions:Warming acupuncture and moxibustion therapy is an effective method to treat Primary dysmenorrhea,especially to alleviate the pain symptom. And it has the advantage of the more simple way to give treatment and no side-effect.This shows that Warming acupuncture and moxibustion therapy will have a good prospect of clinical application.
