| Objective:The purpose of this study on the syndrome differentiation of breast cancer and its correlation with biological indicators to provide research-based for further research of TCM Syndrome Types of breast cancer research,TCM Syndrome Types with molecular biology-related research.Methods:From breast surgery of Guangdong Provincial TCM Hospital we collected 230 cases of breast cancer patients(female patients,aged 28~88 years), including patients with basic information,symptoms and signs of Chinese medicine,pathology results,et al.Then we establish the database.In accordance with national standards for TCM Syndrome Differentiation we distinguishded different TCM Syndrome Types by Syndrome that we collected.And then collected the pathological information,use descriptive analysis, chi-square test,rank sum test and other statistical methods,analysis TCM Syndrome of breast cancer and the biology of the evidence-based indicators.Results:We found average age of patients were 52.27±12.90 years.As follows is Histopathological types of breast cancer:infiltrative ductal carcinoma 177 cases(77.0%),ductal carcinoma in situ 20 cases(8.7%), ductal carcinoma in situ with minimal infiltration 12 cases(5.2%), infiltrative lobular carcinoma 7 cases(3.0%),mucinous adenocarcinoma 6 cases (2.6%),papillary carcinoma 5 cases(2.2%),tubular carcinoma 2 cases(0.9%), apocrine carcinoma 2 cases(0.9%).There are three cases of combined Paget,s disease,and another three cases of two pathology types at the same time(one case is infiltrative ductal carcinoma with tubular carcinoma,another two cases is infiltrative ductal carcinoma with infiltrative lobular carcinoma).TCM Syndrome Types of Breast Cancer as follows:in 230 cases of breast cancer patients there had 166 cases of Gan Yu Tan Ning,accounting for 72.2 percent,followed 39 cases of Chong Ren Shi Tiao,accounting for 17.0%,then 25 cases of Zheng Xu Du Chi,accounting for 10.9%.By rank sum test,breast cancer nuclear grade,estrogen receptor(ER), progesterone receptor(PR),oncogene(C-erbB-2),tumor cell proliferation index(Ki-67)distribution in classification of TCM Syndrome Types of breast cancer inter-group comparison,there was no significant difference(P=0.05,P>0.05),breast nuclear grade,estrogen receptor(ER),progesterone receptor (PR),oncogene(C-erbB-2),tumor cell proliferation index(Ki-67)with syndrome differentiation of breast cancer without relevance,they can not be used as TCM Syndrome type of breast cancer factors,breast cancer syndrome differentiation can not be an prediction indicator of these indicators.By rank sum test,histological grade,tumor suppressor gene(p53),age, clinical stage of breast cancer,breast molybdenum grade distribution in different TCM Syndrome Types inter-group comparison,there was significant difference(P<0.05),breast cancer histological grading,tumor suppressor gene(p53),age,clinical stage of breast cancer,breast mammography had relevance with classification of TCM Syndrome Types of breast cancer,can be as an impact factor of TCM Syndrome Types of breast cancer,classification of TCM Syndrome Types of breast cancer can predict histopathological grade of p53.By chi-square test,VEGF distribution in classification of TCM Syndrome Types of breast cancer inter-group comparison,there was no significant difference(P>0.05).There were not relevance between VEGF expression and TCM Syndrome Types.VEGF can not be used as a factor of TCM Syndrome type of breast cancer,TCM Syndrome type of breast cancer also can not predict the expression of VEGF indicators.Conclusion:Breast cancer nuclear grade,estrogen receptor(ER),progesterone receptor(PR),oncogene(C-erbB-2),tumor cell proliferation index(Ki-67) can not be used as TCM Syndrome type of breast cancer factors,Breast cancer syndrome differentiation can not be an prediction indicator of these indicators;Histological grade,tumor suppressor gene(p53),age,clinical stage of breast cancer,breast molybdenum grade can be as impact factors of TCM Syndrome Types of breast cancer,classification of TCM Syndrome Types of breast cancer can predict histopathological grade,p53;There were not relevance between VEGF expression and TCM Syndrome Types.VEGF can not be used as a factor of TCM Syndrome type of breast cancer,TCM Syndrome type of breast cancer also can not predict the expression of VEGF indicators. |
