Objective To investigate the association of plasminogen activator inhibitor-1(PAI-1) 4G/5G and coagulation factorⅩⅢTyr204Phe polymorphism with the risk of intercerebral hemorrhage。Methods We identified 107 patients with primarily cerebral hemorrhage confirmed by CT or MRI,and 100 healthy controls who were randomly selected and matched for age,sex,sampling time,and geographic region.Blood samples obtained at baseline were analyzed for potential risk factors.The PAI-1 4G/5G polymorphisms and FⅩⅢA Tyr204Phe polymorphisms were detected by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP).Two groups' information including the medical history of hypertension,diabetes and hyperlipidemia were collected by the questionnaire,then the influence and correlation of PAI-1) 4G/5G polymorphism on those risk factors were explored. Results(1) Genetic analysis revealed the ICH group 4G/5G in 54 patients,5G/5G genotype in 28,and 4G/4G in 25.In the control group,59,21,and 20 for 4G/5G,5G/5G,and 4G/4G respectively.For the genetypes and allele frequency,there was no significant difference between two groups(P>0.05).(2) PAI-1 4G/5G genotype and allele frequencies were statistically differences in the groups with diabetes whether or not of 100 healthy controls(P<0.05).But there was no significant difference that PAI-1 4G/5G genotype and allele frequency distribut in peoples,whether whom with hypertension,diabetes, hyperlipidemia.(P>0.05).(3) FactorⅩⅢTyr204Phe gene was not a polymorphism gene in the both groups.Conclusions Our results suggested that PAI-1 4G/5G gene polymorphism did not have a correlation with cerebral hemorrhage,any genetypes of 4G/5G gene did not increase the risk of ICH.It hadn't been found that PAI-1 4G/5G gene polymorphism and hypertension,diabetes or hyperlipidemia had any relationship..Our study failed to find FⅩⅢTyr204Phe gene was a polymorphism gene.
