Objective: We carried out this study to elucidate the influence of cellular immune function related to the patients with Nasal natural killer / T cell Lymphoma by investigating the activity of T-lymphocyte subgroup,Natural killer cells in peripheral blood of them before and after chemotherapy.Methods:76 cases used in the present study were divided into two groups: testing group (41 cases, with Nasal natural killer/T cell Lymphoma) and normal group ( 35 cases, without malignant tumors ). The activity of T-lymphocyte subgroup,Natural killer cells in peripheral blood of the testing group were investigated before chemotherapy and 14 days after chemotherapy with two cycles. A statistical study was done between two groups. Results: Before chemotherapy, T-lymphocyte subset (CD3~+, CD4~+ and the ratio of CD4~+/CD8~+) and values of Natural killer cells of patients with Nasal natural killer/T cell Lymphoma were significantly lower than that of normal group. The values of CD8~+and CD4~+CD25+Tregulatory cells were increased obviously compared with normal group. After chemotherapy with two cycles, The values of CD3~+, CD4~+,the ratio of CD4~+/CD8~+and The values of CD8~+,CD4~+CD25~+Tregulatory cells was higher and lower respectively than that of before chemotherapy in improved (CR+PR) patients in effective group, The values of them approachcd the level of the normal group. The values of CD4~+,Natural killer cells and the ratio of CD4~+/CD8~+declined obviously in the chemotherapy ineffective group (SD+PD).Conclusion: the cellular immunity function was suppressed and the ratio of T-lymphocyte subset was disordered obviously in the patients with Nasal natural killer/T cell Lymphoma. Natural killer cells declined obviously. The cellular immunity of patients was improved by killing the tumor cells, decreasing CD4~+CD25+Tregulatory cells, removing the immunosuppressive agent after the effective chemotherapy;while that of patients with ineffective chemotherapy continued to decent. So clinical observation to the cellular immunity of the patients with Nasal natural killer/T cell Lymphoma has very important significance, which on the therapeutic effect of chemotherapy and prognosis by investigating the activity of T-lymphocyte subgroup and The values of Natural killer cells before and after chemotherapy.
