Purpose:Explore the high danger factors of the premature delivery, the delivery mode and the gestational age; prevent and heal in time the pregnant combined symptoms, complications by going through pre-delivery inspections and medications to avoid or delay the occurrence of the premature delivery, and to reduce the mortality of the premature baby.Materials and Methods: From the retrospective analysis of 235 premature delivery cases between January 2005 to December 2006, compare the reason, the gestational age, and the difference of delivery modes between the medical-indicated preterm labor and the spontaneous premature delivery; explore the relations between the gestational age and the weight, the complication, the mortality of the new born baby. Cases were selected according to the premature diagnostic standards from the book Practical Science of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Sixth Edition. The SPSS 12.0 statistical software was used to do the statistical analysis.Results: The medical reasons and delivery modes are different between the medical-indicated Preterm labor and the spontaneous premature delivery; The sick occurrence and the mortality of the new born baby are higher if the gestational age is shorter.Conclusions: Prevent and heal in time the pregnant combined symptoms, complications by going through pre-delivery inspections and medications to avoid or delay the occurrence of the premature delivery, to choose the suitable gestational age and the delivery mode, and to reduce the mortality of the premature baby.
