Objective: To investigate the clinical characteristic, therapy and prognosis of patient with acute viral myocarditis.Methods: 29 patients hospitalized with acute viral myocarditis during 2002-2008 were included, age from 15 to 57 years old ., male 18,female 11, 12 patients included with serious acute viral myocarditis., the clinical course and characteristics in all patients were analyzed.Results: Manifestations of acute viral myocarditis varied, chest pain were observed as initial symptoms for most time. Myocardial enzyme increased, but the specificity was low, and without the peak as myocardial infarction. The electrocardiogram and the echocardiography of acute viral myocarditis were varied.Conclusion: Manifestations of acute viral myocarditis are variable, and should be sufficient attention, Early diagnosis and timely to take comprehensive measures active treatment. On severe viral myocarditis, early diagnosis, timely application of high-dose adrenocorticotropic hormone and given emergency treatment, such as pacemakers, it will obtain a better prognosis...
