A Systematic Review Of Acupuncture Therapy On The Stroke In Convalescence Stage And Sequela Stage

Objective:Qualitatively summarize the application of acupuncture therapy on the stroke and quantitatively compare the clinical effect of the different acupuncture programs in convalescence stage and sequela stage. Method:According to the method of systematic review,completely collect the clinic study of acupuncture therapy on the stroke in convalescence stage and sequela stage. Choose the eligible study by selection criteria and evaluate the research quality by Jadad. Collect the data of the study,and make Mate-analysis,funnel plots and homogeneity test. Result:45 study and 38 kinds of acupuncture programs are included into the analysis by document retrieval and three time selection. One study is high-quality,the rest 44 are low-quality. Meta-analysis show that:16 kinds of acupuncture programs are both clinical significance and statistical significance in clinical efficacy rate,16 kinds in Barthel index,6 kinds in score of FMA,and Head-acupuncture1 in Wechsler adultintelligence scale. Because of the small number of included study,the study have not been carried out funnel plot analysis and sensitivity analysis. Conclusion:The systematic review indicate that the convalescence stage group recommend Acupuncture1,sequela stage group recommend Acupuncture Lumbosacral Acupoint,convalescence and sequela stage group recommend Nie Sanzhen. In the aspect of improving the Barthel index, the convalescence stage group recommend Head-acupuncture5, sequela stage group recommend Acupuncture+Massage1, conva- lescence and sequela stage group recommend Zhanglipingheng Acupuncture. In the aspect of improving the score of FMA,the convalescence stage group recommend Head-acupuncture6,sequela stage group recommend Acupuncture+Cognitive Rehabilitatio- n Training, convalescence and sequela stage group have not relative research. In neurological deficit scores,the convalescence stage group recommend Acupuncture+ Herb2,and other group have not relative research. Acupuncture1 is effective to improving the Wechsler adultintelligence scale. Because of the small number of included study,more research will be continued with including the supplementary study and analysis.
