Bioreactor is one of important research platform for tissue engineering, it can simulate living organism environment for the use of tissue culture,and examine and evaluate three-dimensional samples. Vascular tissue engineering bioreactor is an important tool for constructing tissue engineering blood vessel,because it can provide a stable and biological environment similar in vivo. Studying on effection of the blood vessel wall cells under hemodynamics, it shows that the suitable mechanical stimulus makes the wall cell for proliferation and differentiation, extracellular matrix-secreting cells, increasing vascular strength and results in all floors of the cell wall performing its functions more better. Therefore, how to provide an appropriate mechanical environment for tissue engineering blood vessel, and how to create stress culture system in vitro for vascular tissue with a simulative-physiological state, it is the key that need to be resolved for vascular tissue eingineering bioreactor.Virtual instrument is a conbined production with computer systems and equipment .we can design flexibly vascular engineering bioreactor by using the powerful hardware features combined with the corresponding software.Virtual instrument compared with the traditional instruments,the biggest feature is flexibility, it can achieve easily monitoring and control multi-functions by selecting a different hardware configuration and changing software. This paper research the dynamic culture system based on the hemodynamic conditions, and develop a vascular engineering bioreactor based on virtual instrument. the main contents are as follows:1. Analyses the work principles and characteristics of existing vascular tissue engineering bioreactor,Advances the system design requirements and Achieve the design of vascular tissue engineering bioreactor in the end.2. Builds the cyclic Perfusion system of vascular tissue engineering bioreactor.The cyclic perfusion system can simulate the steady flow and pulsatile flow, and regulate magnitude or frequency of pressure and shear stress. The vascular tissue engineering bioreactor provides multi-mechanical stimulation condition for research of vascular tissue engineering.3. Identifies objects of measurement and control through analysing of vascular tissue engineering bioreactor. Developments the measurement and control system for vascular engineering bioreactor with using sensors, signal conditioning modules, USB-6009 data acquisition card ,computer,and the use of LabVIEW software. And the system accomplish data acquisition,signal processing and process control by software.4. Paper designs programming of multi-channel signal sampling, improves the accuracy of signal acquisition for the use of median filter and the sample average modules. the current temperature and CO2 or changes inside the chamber of culture ,pressure inside the tube and the pH of culture medium are displayed by the front panel.5. Designs control system of stepper motor. the system uses the MSP430 single chip microcomputer to control motor, the system communicates with computer through the data acquisition card I/O port and realizes the remote control of stepper motor. The motor control system is also an independent system that run with the absence of computer, and the motor speed can be regulated and displayed by button.6. Developments sensor calibration programming, carrys on the actual testing of the system with measurement and control software compiled by LabVIEW 8.5, after calibrating and testing sensors.It turns out that vascular tissue engineering bioreactor measurement and control system based on virtual instrument meets the design requirements and offers good platform for the research of vascular tissue engineering,with friendly interface together with powerful functions.the system runs in good condition,performance of bioreactor is stable,experimental conditions are easy to control,Under steady flow and pulsatile flow mode.
