The Expression Of Survivin And P53 On Ovarian Carcinoma And Its Clinic Value | Posted on:2009-05-11 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:Z Q Yang | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2144360278450083 | Subject:Obstetrics and gynecology | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Objective: To research t-veral clinicopathologic and demonstrative prognostic parameters , and to investigate the significance. Methods:Survivin and p53 protein expression were examined by immunohistochemical staining (SABC)and hemiquantity calculation in 62 cases of ovarian cancer and 30 cases of normal ovary tissues. The correlation between Survivin and p53 expression and histological tyes and clinical stages in ovarian carcinoma were analysed.Results:1) The positive rate of p53 and Survivin protein expression in ovarian carcinoma. The positive cases of p53 protein expression was 54.84%(34/62) in ovarian carcinomas, it was higher than that in control(p<0.01); the positive cases of p53 protein expression was 56.52% (26/46) in ovarian mucinous cystadenocarcinoma it was 57.14%(8/14) in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma. There was no significant(p > 0.05).The positive cases of Survivin protein expression was 43.55%(27/62) in ovarian carcinomas, it was higher than that in control(p<0.05); the positive cases of Survivin protein expression was 45.65% (21/46) in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma it was 42.86% (6/14) in ovarian mucinous cystadenocarcinoma There was no significant(p>0.05).2) Relationship between positive rate of p53 and Survivin protein expression and ascitic volum and lymph node metastasis in ovarian carcinoma. The positive cases of p53 protein expression was in more 500ml ascitic volum higher than that in less 500ml ascitic volum(p<0.01), There was no significant about the positive cases of Survivin protein expression (p > 0.05).The positive cases of Survivin protein expression was in lymph node metastasis higher than that in no lymph node metastasis (p<0.05)r There was no significant about the positive cases of p53 protein expression (p>0.05).3) The PI of p53 and Survivin protein expression at various clinical stages in ovarian carcinoma. The PI of p53 and Survivin protein expression is higher at various clinical stages in ovarian carcinoma than that in control(p<0.01) there was a significant difference about the PI of p53 and Survivin protein expression in various clinical stages.4) The PI of p53 and Survivin protein expression at various pathologic grade in ovarian carcinoma .The PI of p53 and Survivin protein expression is higher at various pathologic grade in ovarian carcinoma than that in control(p<0.01 =there was a significant difference about the PI of p53 and Survivin protein expression in various pathologic grade (p < 0.01).5) The PI of p53 and Survivin protein expression at various pathologic type in ovarian carcinoma .There was no significant difference about the PI of p53 protein expression in various pathologic grade (p>0.05); There was significant difference about the PI of Survivin protein expression between ovarian mucinous cystadenocarcinoma and ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma or uterus inner membrane carcinomabut there was no significant difference between ovarian mucinous cystadenocarcinoma and uterus inner membrane carcinoma (p>0.05) .6) Relationship between PI of p53 and Survivin protein expression and lymph node metastasis in ovarian carcinoma .The PI of p53 and Survivin protein expression is higher in lymph node metastasis in ovarian carcinoma than that in no lymph node metastasisthere was a significant difference between lymph node metastasis and no lymph node metastasis (p < 0.01).Conclusion:1) There was significant relationship between P53 and Survivin protein expression and clinical stages various pathologic grade lymph node metastasis and ascitic volum.2) P53 and Survivin protein were significant clinical parameter in ovarian carcinoma may be involved in progression of ovarian carcinoma examination of P53 and Survivin protein expression was of great value in understanding the degree of malignancy and evaluating prognosis of the disease. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Ovarian carcinoma, Protein P53, Surviving, Pathological type, clinical stages, Clinical prognosis | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
