Six Preventive Measures Of The Intraoral Prominent Mandibular Angle Reduction Complications

Objective:To eliminate intraoral approach mandi- bular angle to narrow the surgery perioperative complications ccurred, investigate its preventive measures and standardize the measures.Methods:2003---2008 years, there were 53 cases of narrowing in patients under local anesthesia intraoral mandibular angle. Six preventive measures were used to prevent surgical complications: 1,doctor-patient communication and re-set programs, 2,local anesthesia was more safe especially in local clinics, 3,remember periosteal "degloving" , 4,grinding skill should be mastered, 5,retain the masseter muscle to red- uce the injury, 6,the protection of the mouth ,handle skill should be soft.Results:There are 37 cases after 2005 were followed up and all cases endured the six preventive measures, satisfied re- sults without any complications were achieved.Conclusion:Co- mplications of mandibular angle anthroplasty could be avoided. Six preventive measures should be used as such for clinical practice.
