Objective : To summarize the etiology, clinical and prognosis character of bronchopulmonary dysplasia and explore its methods of prevention, early diagnosis and treatment .Methods : Analysis 22 cases of bronchopulmonary dysplasia retrospectively, summarize and analyze characteristics of gestation age, birth weight, primary disease, lung imaging performance, treatment process and prognosis. Results:In 22 cases, disposition of gestation age:less than 28w 1 cases, between 28w and 32w 14 cases, between 32w and 37w 5 cases, more than 37w 2 cases.Disposition of birth weight : less than 1000g 1 cases, between 1000g and 1500g 12 cases , between 1500g and 2500g 5 cases, more than 2500g 4 cases. The primary affection:neonatal resapiratory distress syndrome 8 cases, aspiration syndrome 5 cases, pneumonia 7cases, pneumorrhagia 1cases , 1 case normal. All cases have been oxygen treatment, average time of inhaling dephlogisticated air(44.2±10.9)d ,mechanical ventilation in 18 cases, average time of mechanical ventilation(8.9±5.4)d. Average stay(48 . 0±18.6)d.19 cases complicated with pulmonary infection.Clinical cure 12 case, improvement 7 cases, automation discharge 3 cases.7 cases were in hospital again because of pulmonary infection in one year, death 2 cases. Conclusion : (1) Bronchopulmonary dysplasia was found more common in preterm infants whose gestational age less than 32 weeks, birth weight less than 1500g. (2)The typical bronchopulmonary dysplasia secondary to neonatal resapiratory distress syndrome reduced relatively now. More than half cases the primary affection was pneumonia and aspiration syndrome . (3)Premature infant lung developmental immaturity, machinery ventilation and oxygen toxicity were common causes of bronchopulmonary dysplasia. During the course of treatment, secondary lung infection was another important factor to promote the development of bronchopulmonary dysplasia. (4) Early clinical manifestations of bronchopulmonary dysplasia had non-specific ,it was related with primary diseases .Late-stage clinical manifestations appeared the ventilator dependent or stopped the oxygen difficultly .(5)Clinical datas and imaging findings were important for making early diagnosis of bronchopulmonary dysplasia .(6)The use of glucocorticoid in serious bronchopulmonary dysplasia cases had a certain effect. To take strong measures to control secondary infection of bronchopulmonary dysplasia helped to reduce the course .(7) Survival of children with bronchopulmonary dysplasia could not be optimistic about the prognosis.
