Objective: To investigate the expression of CD24 and CD133 is weather uniformity and CD24 is weather the sign of prostate CSC and its correlation with pathological grade,clinical stage of prostatic carcinoma.Method: Immunohistochemical method was used in detecting CD24 and CD133 in 50 in prostatic carcinoma which is experimental group,10 in BPH which is control group. The experimental group is divided into three group according to the Gleason recorded: A group: 4 Gleason recorded 2-4 prostatic carcinoma ,B group:22 Gleason recorded5-7 prostatic carcinoma, C group: 24 Gleason recorded 8-10 prostatic carcinoma. The control group is divided into four group according to the clinical stage of prostatic carcinoma,T1:5, T2:10,T3:23,T4:12. 1).The expression of CD24 and CD133 between in prostatic carcinoma and BPH.2).The relation for the expression of CD24 and CD133, among in prostatic carcinoma clinical stage, pathology grade and prognosis .The number of prostate CSC which is expression of CD24 and CD133 is counted, so as to clarify weather CD24 and CD133 are the sign of prostate CSC.Results: The number of prostate CSC which is expression of CD24 and CD133 is little in all the prostate cancer cells. The expression of CD24 and CD133 protein in experimental group was evidently higher than in control group (P <0.05orP < 0.01). The intensity of CD24 and CD133 expression was associated with tumor grade and stage in 50 prostatic carcinoma. The level of the expression of CD24 and CD133 protein in C group is evidently higher than in B group (p<0.05),and B group is evidently higher than in A group(p<0.05). The level of the expression of CD24 and CD133 protein expression in T4 is higher than T3, T3 is higher than T2, T2 higher than T1, (p<0.05).Conclusions: The expression of CD24 and CD133 is uniformity , CD24 is the sign of prostate CSC. The expression of CD24 and CD133 which are important CSC sign can CD133 in prostatic carcinoma properly have some relationship. properly reflect development of prostatic carcinoma. the expression of CD24 and...
