Objective: To observe macrophages and dendritic cells in intima of high-lipid diet rabbit's constriction of abdominal aorta.Methods: We divided New Zealand rabbits into common diet group and high-lipid diet group .After 28 weeks, we referred to them different operations, then divided them into 4 groups: high-lipid operation group(ho group),high-lipid sham operation group(hso group),common operation group(co group) and common sham operation group(cso group).After operations, we continued to keep them 4 weeks, then measured TG,TC,LDL, and measued blood pressure in the proimate and distance of abdominal aorta ,then took the vascular.HE-staining was used to identify the thickness of intima.Anti-CD68 and S-100 antibodies were used to identify macrophages and dendritic cells.Results:1)TG,TC,LDL of high-lipid diet group were more than commom diet group.2)The blood pressure(BP) was higher in the proximate of abdominal aorta than that in the distance in various group.And BP in the proximate of constriction was higher in ho group than that in hso group, and lower in the distance of constriction than that in hso group.3)Co group and cso group: The intima was smooth and glossy ;Ho and hso group: there were a lot of foam cells in the intima; The intima was thicker in the proximate of constriction in ho group than that in hso group, and thinner in the distance than that in hso group.4)Macrophages and dendritic cells were more in the proximate of constriction in ho group than those in hso group ,and less in the distance than those in hso group. 5)Macrophages and dendrtic cells decreased synchronously in the distance of constrction in ho group.Conclusions: The blood pressure was higher in the proximate of constriction in high-lipid operation rabbit's abdominal aorta, and the intima was thicker, macrophages and dendritic cells were more ; all the above were less in the distance of constriction,and macrophages and dendrtic cells decreased synchronously.
