Study On The Influencing Factors Of Condom Use Among Rural Women In Depressed Area Of Anhui Province

Objective To investigate the status and factors of condom use among rural married women of high incidence and low incidence areas of AIDS in the poverty-stricken areas of An Hui Province and to provide evidence for the strategies and measures of health education and behavioural intervention for condom use.Methods Divide the poverty-stricken counties of An Hui Province into north and south part and draw one country from the north and south poverty-stricken counties respectively,then use cluster sampling method to draw 3817 rural married women as survey objects.Use univariate analysis and multiplicity analysis to explore relation between the status of condom use and each factor.Results During the 3817 rural married women,the rate of condom use,knowledge rate of condom and knowledge rate of AIDS is 6.2%,60%and 57.8%respectively.The rate of condom use of young women is higher than old women.The higher education level,the higher rate of condom use.The higher knowledge rate of AIDS,the higher rate of condom use.The higher knowledge rate of condom,the higher rate of condom use.The stronger society gender consciousness,the higher rate of condom use.Conclusion Rural married women in An Hui Province lacked the knowledge of condom and the rate of condom using is low.There are many influential factors for the condom use,so the correlated sections should adopt synthetic measure to increase the rate of condom use.When formulating the intervention strategy,the above factors should be drawn attention.
