Objective:To establish a simply and feasible vascular vertiginous animal model, the also according with Qi deficiency and blood stasis, and establish an objective appraise system.Methods:16 health Japanese Rabbits were labeled according body weight, then divided into two groups by random digital table, the model group and controlling group have 8 rabbits respectively.Chronic vertebrobasilar insufficiency(VBT) was set up by injected tissue sclerosing remedy into soft tissue on the left side of cervical vertebral transverse to induce the stenosis in the left vertebral arteries and the lower blood flow in the basilar and bilateral vertebral arteries, then the Qi deficiency and blood stasis symptom model was induced by hungry and high-lipoid diets, the rabbits according to TCM symptom were selected, and the vertigo model was established by rolling.Rabbits' behaviors, symptom, body weight, jumping time, hemorrheology and cerebral blood flow were checked before and after model established. Vestibular neural nuclei, levels of hepatic DNA,jumping times were analysed between model group and controlling group, degree and continue time of vertigo were valued by jumping time.Results:1.There aren't significantly hypoxygen and ischemia in vestibular neural nuclei of model group,But the model rabbits' jumping time increased significantly, index of Qi deficiency and blood stasis symptom such as body weight, behavior also increased.2.Cerebral blood flow of model Rabbits decreased, jumping time increased significantly, and hemorrheology behavior, body weight also changed. Conclusions:The model has the characteristic combined disease and symptom, not only shows degree and continue time of vertigo, also conforms to symptom of TCM.So it can be used as a way to research anti-vertigo Chinese herbs.
