PartⅠThe correlation between human leukocyte antigen G and progesterone receptor in endometrial adenocarcinomaObjective:To investigate the relationship between human leukocyte antigen G and progesterone receptor in the endometrial andenocarcinoma.Methods:the expression of HLA-G and PR in the endometrial andenocarcinoma and normal endometrium was examined by immunohistochemistry.The results were analysed by mean opatic density.Results:The mean optic density of HLA-G by using IHC in the endometrial andenocarcinoma(0.3801±0.1360) was significantly increased(P<0.01),comparing to the normal endometrium(0.2361±0.1808).The mean optic density of PR in the endometrial andenocarcinoma(0.2659±0.2331) was increased,comparing to the normal endometrium(0.1758±0.1845),but having no statistical meaning(P>0.05).The expression of HLA-G and PR having no correlation. Conclusion:Comparing with the normal endometrium,the expression of HLA-G increased.but the expression of PR having no difference between the two groups.The expression of HLA-G and PR having no correlation. PartⅡMifepristone as abortifacient modulating the expression of Smad7Objective:To investigate the effect of mifepristone on the function of transforming growth factorβsignal transduction in the chorionic villi and the molecular mechanism of mifepristone inducing abortion.Methods:The early pregnant chorionic villi got from surgical aspiration and mifepristone inducing abortion.The expression of Smad7 which is the targeted gene of TGF-β/smads signal transduction pathway in the chorionic villi was examined by immunohistochemical staining with specific antibody and RT-PCR.The results were analysed by mean opatic density and density scale.Results:The mean optic density of Smad7 in the chorionic villi in mifepristone inducing abortion group(0.3466±0.0469) was statistically increased(P<0.01),comparing with surgical aspiration group(0.2337±0.0657).The density scale of Smad7 mRNA in the chorionic villi in mifepristone inducing abortion group(0.5617±0.4103) was statistically increased(P<0.02),comparing with surgical aspiration group(0.2222±0.2441).Conclusion:Mifepristone can upregulate the expression of Smad7 in human chorionic villi.This demonstrated that mifepristone can upregulate the function of the TGF-β/smads signal transduction pathway,which lead to upregulate the expression of targeted gene,for example plasminogen activator inhibitor 1.That can affect migration and evasion of trophoblast cells,possible one of the molecular mechanism for termination of early pregnancy by this drug. PartⅢCorrelation of human leukocyte antigen G and disease of obstetrics and gynecologyHuman leukocyte antigen G(HLA-G) is an important member of major histocompatibility complex classⅠ.HLA-G seems to affect almost every aspect of human immune.It can inhibit immunological function,malignant gynecological neoplasms,endometriosis,abortion,preeclampsia is common disease in obstetrics and gynecology.The aberration of immunofunction may play important party in the pathogenesis of these diseases.In this article,we review the current information about HLA-G in these diseases.
