| Although its morbidity and mortality has declined in recent years,gastric caner is the most commonly seen malignant tumor in the world, it still ranks first among all malignant tumors. Through years of researches and practices, people have been able to use different kinds of ways to carry out comprehensive treatment of this disease, but there are still some problems. This article studied the theoretical base,clinical diaspense and therapeutic mechanisms of the treatment of the advanced gastric cancer at the aspact of the theory and clinic.Methods: This research chose 20 inpatients who were diagnosed the advanced gastric cancer and treated at surgical department of affiliated hospital of Nanjing University of TCM from September 2006 to December 2008. They were divided into 2 groups, One group was only given chemical therapy, and the other group was given chemical and TCM therapy. Then observe the variation of different targets and effect before and after surgical operation, and deal with the results by SPSS 17.0 statistics software.Results: Although there were not obvious differences between two groups at aspacts of immunohistochemistry signs, but we found that nm23,CD24 protein expression in gastric carcinoma with the depth of cell invasion,the number of lymph node metastasis and TNM stage were correlated, they may plays important roles in the tumor occurrence and development.Conclusion: The adjuvant chemotherapy may not have effect on the expression of immunohistochemistry in gastric carcinoma,but CD24 and nm23 protein may be correlated with the depth of cell invasion and its metastasis .By using Shen Yi Jian Zhong Tang with the effect of tonifying qi and sterngthening spleen, it could provid more effective treatment to some patients with gastric cancer, clinical research of which lay basis for further development of anti-tumor herbal medicine.
