| Objective: Observe the clinical efficacy of Photodynamic therapy (PDT) combined with Jianpihuazhuofang to treat central exudative chorioretinopathy (CEC) .Methods: Do the clinical observation by using PDT combined with Jianpihuazhuofang as treating group and comparing control group with pure PDT.46 cases(46 eyes) diagnosed as CEC patients were treated with PDT .The data of best-corrected visual acuity(BCVA) testing, fluorescein annionraphy(FFA) and optic coherence tomonraphy (OCT) were used to evaluate the effects of the treatment of PDT combined with traditional Chinese medicine about the method of Jianpihuazhuofang before and 1,3 month after treatment.21 cases(21 eyes) in the group of PDT intervened by traditional Chinese medicine about the method of Jianpihuazhuofang, and 25 cases(25 eyes) in the pure PDT group. A vision, FFA,and OCT test results for the observed indicators, evaluation Jianpihuazhuofang after treatment for PDT patients the impact of vesting conditions.Result:By using PDTcombined with jianpihuazhuofang as treating group and comparing control group with pure PDT. Clinical treatment of 1 month and 3 months later, there were no statistical significance compared in the two sets of BCVA; There were statistically significant differences between two groups in fluorescence leakage disappeared 3 months after treatment(P<0.05);OCT revealed that traditional Chinese medicine intervention group macular retinal and choroidal neovascularization (CNV) complex thickness were less than the thickness of PDT group after 1,3 months treatment (P<0.05) .Conclution: PDT intervened by Jianpihuazhuofang can be effective in promoting retinal edema absorption,reducing seepage in central exudative chorioretinopathy patients,a longer period of time after the intervention of traditional Chinese medicine, there is conducive to the maintenance of the stability of the role of PDT.
