Objective:To compare the efficacy of half-dose photodynamic therapy(PDT)and high-density subthreshold micropulse laser(HSML)in the treatment of chronic central serous chorioretinopathy(cCSC)with Microperimetry.Methods:30 patients(30 eyes)with cCSC diagnosed by optical coherence tomography angiography(OCTA)and fundus fluorescein angiography(FFA)from January to November in 2019 were selected. The patients were divided into two groups(15 eyes in each group). One group was treated with half-dose PDT and the other group was treated with HSML.The best corrected visual acuity(BCVA)and Microperimetry were examined before and 1 month after treatment. To evaluate the changes of the BCVA,average macular sensitivity and fixation stability after two methods of treatment. Results: One month after treatment, the BCVA of half-dose PDT group and HSML group increased to(0.06±0.09,0.21±0.19 respectively),and there was significant difference between the two groups(t=-2.732,P < 0.05);The average macular sensitivity increased to(25.06±3.88,20.82±3.83)dB,respectively.And there was significant difference between the two groups(t=3.014,P<0.05).One month after the treatment,in half-dose PDT group:14 cases(93.3%)had stable fixation,1case(6.7%)relative unstable fixation; In HSML group: 5 cases(33.3%)had stable fixation,10 cases(66.7%)relative unstable fixation. There was significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).The methods of both groups were significantly improved, but the half-dose PDT group was significantly better than the HSML group. No ocular or systemic complications related to visual acuity were observed in both groups after teratment.Conclusion:1.Both half-dose PDT and HSML are effective in the treatment of cCSC,but the half-dose PDT is more effective. One month after operation, the improvement rate of fundus function in half-dose PDT group was significantly higher than that in HSML group.2.As a reliable instrument to evaluate the changes of retinal function in patients with cCSC before and after operation, microperimetry provides important information for clinical treatment of cCSC.
