PEG IFNα-2a (Pegasys) combined with Ribavirin is the best antiviral remedy of curing CHC. HC virus genotype, virus capacity and patient's curing compliance are the important factors influencing the curative effects.Purposes:Evaluate the curative effects of Pegasys combined with Ribavirin to cure the CHC, and discuss the relations between HC virus genotype, virus capacity and curative effect so as to correctly and rationally adjust the course of treatment and dosage and establish the more optimized "individualized" Rx. Discuss the relations between the patient's compliance and the curative effect and carry out the relevant education of the patient on the hospital health so as to obtain the higher compliance and better antivirus effects.Methods:The epidemiological investigation and clinic contrast research methods are applied to regard 160 CHC patients hospitalized from September, 2006 to September, 2009 as the investigation and observation objects, with 86 cases in the Pegasys group: 180ug Pegasys, hypodermic injection once a week; 74 cases in the contrast group: 5MU common regrouped interferon a, hypodermic injection three times a week. The patients in both the groups take 1 000mg/d Ribavirin and the curing time is 48 weekswhen the patients do not accept the other treatments. Compare the curative effects of Pegasys combined treatment and common interferon combined treatment, and at the same time, evaluate some important factors influencing the curative effects of Pegasys and their relations with the curative effects.Results:Comparing the ages, sex and conditions before the treatment of the patients in the treatment group and the contrast group, when there is no statistic difference and good comparability, the curative effects of the treatment group are obviously better than those of the contrast group. After the treatment, comparing the ALT normal restoration ratio and HCV-RNA negative conversion ratio, p<0.01. Half a year later after the patients are interviewed, comparing the ALT continuous normal restoration number and HCV-RNA continuous negative conversion number, p<0.01. In the process of analysis of the factors influencing its curative effects, the following conclusion is made: influence of the virus genotype on the curative effects: for the patients to whom EVR and BR occur, the serum I is 71.4% and 64.3%, respectively; the serum II is 98.0% and 87.0%. The EVR differences between the patients in the two groups have the statistical meaning (x~2=7.56, P<0.01) and the BR differences of the patients in the two groups have the statistical meaning (x~2=4.46, P<0.05). EVR of the serum I and serum II is obviously higher than BR of the serum I and serum II. Influences of HCV-RNA amount on the curative effects: the complete response ratio of the low-level group (<10~6 copies/ml) is high and that of the high-level group (>10~6 copies/ml) is low, and the differences between the groups have the statistical meaning. In addition, the patient's health and belief, family and social support and knowledge of HC, in the positive relevance with the patient's curing compliance, have the statistical meaning. It proves from the patient's curing compliance research that the hospital health education is important.Conclusion:The curative effects of Pegasys combined with Ribavirin to cure CHC are obviously better than those of the common interferon combined with Ribavirin. Virus genotype, virus capacity and patient's curing compliance are the important factors influencing its curative effects. The hospital health education greatly improves the patient's compliance.
