At present most researchs resume that cognitive function disorder is generally exist in depression patients.and it is one of the major issues that affect the quality of life and the prognosis of most depression individual . The occurrence, development, diagnosis, treatment and intervention of The cognitive function disorder in depression have been studied from physiology, psychology and society by psychologist. These have furthered peoples' knowledge of cognitive function disorder of depression, supplied some theoretical explanation and methodological guidance to people's the precaution and interference of cognitive function disorder of depression. However, the studies of this field are mainly focussed on the basic cognition process of clinical depressive disorder ,such as research by adopting scales. Besides, specific and systematic researches into the social information processing of cognition of depressive disorder, binding molecular biology have never appeared. This study explores the specific appearance, influencing factors and the level of molecular biology of cognitive function disorder in depressive disorder by adopting questionnaires, scales, and PCR methods and so on. This study mainly refers to five parts, including studies dealing with the Severity degree of depressive symptom, the testing of memory,Execution Function and attention ,and the analysis of COMT COMT genotype polymorphism ,the relation between COMT and influencing factors of cognition in depressive disorder, and so on The results of this study bring about the following conclusions:1. Research on neuropsychology discover: Depressive patients significantly worse in cognitive tests than normal control on total trials, preservative errors, random errors of WCST (P<0.O1).and the normal did better on corrects and categories completes of WCST than the patients(P<0.01).The detection time, the times of extracted pen, error times of depression patients are obviously higher than the normal controls(P<0.01).but the scores of Digital Symbol,Digital Span and regeneration in depression patients are fairly lower than that of the normal (P<0.01).2. The detection of COMT genotype polymorphism display: The most frequent genotype was COMT G/G ,the next was COMT A/G and the lest frequent genotype was COMT A/A in the two groups. The estimated COMT allele frequencies in the sample of cognitive impairment subjects were0.253 and 0. 747 for A;0.219 and 0. 781 for G . The percentage of G allele carriers in the depression group was bigger than in the normal group ( P < 0. 01) . The patients group had distinctly lower percentage of A allele carriers than the control group.there are sharp gender differences at some age and grades. The theoretical value of this study lies in, its further the study of specific appearance to the mechanism of cognitive function disorder in depressive disorder ,bingding research on neuropsychology and molecular biology ,enriching and developing the information on cognitive function disorder of depressive disorder, exploring the characteristics of the changes of the levels of cognitive function and the cognitive traits and its significance, thus paving a new approach of Cognitive function studies of depression. In practice, the findings of the study contribute to diagnosis, treatment and intervention of depression, and provid guidance for rising the quality of life and improving the prognosis of depression patients.
