A antifungal marine actinomycete H-09 was selected from marine microorganisms, which were obtained from the First Institute of Oceanography State Oceanic Administration. Actinomycete H-09 which could produce fungicidal active metabolites was obtained. The strain was identified and its fungicidal metabolites were studied.The strain was identified by 16S rDNA gene sequence analysis and the study of morphological, physiological and biochemical characteristics.With the help of silica gel chromatography, thin layer chromatography, and high performance liquid chromatography and other ways, two purified compound with fungicidal activities was isolated from the fermentation broth, named H-09-A and H-09-B,C. The spectra data of UV, MS, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR were used to identify H-09-A and H-09-B,C . The molecular formula of the H-09-A was confirmed as C20H28O2, with a molecular weight of 300. Compared with the known compounds in literatures and compounds database, the structure of H-09-A was as same as dehydroabietic acid . The structure of the H-09-B and H-09-C were as same as Antimycin A2a and Antimycin A1a.The reverse phase high-performance liquid chromatography analysis method was established,which could be used to analyse H-09-A,B,C in the process of the fermentation. As now there is none report that actinomycete could produce dehydroabietic acid.As a potential precursorsit it has a good prospect in pharmaceutical and chemical engineering.
