Objective:Solitary pulmonary nodules(SPN) is a frequent incidental finding in image check of chest,The study of SPN is important to diagnosis its characteristic and found early stage lung carcinoma. Our study observe the value of 99"'Tc-MIBI SPECT fusion imaging in,provide a reference of preoperative differential diagnosis and treatment.Methods:50 patients who X-ray indicated suspected nodules underwent 99mTc-MIBI, X-CT,calcuate the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy respectively, then combined two methods to detect the pulmonary nodules, calcuate sensitivity, specificity and accuracy again,to determine the clinical value of combined three methods.Tumor to normal tissues ratios(T/N) were observed using ROI(region of interest).Result:Of all 50 cases of solitary pulmonary nodules,43 cases were correctly diagnosed with CT alone,42 cases with 99mTc-MIBI SPECT fusion imaging. The Sensitivity, specificity, accuracy value of CT and 99mTc-MIBI SPECT fusion imaging were 81.6%,91.7%,84%;92.1%,66.7%,86%,respectively.There was a significant difference between CT and 99mTc-MIBI SPECT fusion imaging in accuracy(P<0.05)and sensitivity(P<0.05),there was a significant difference in specificity(P<0.05).Conclusion:99mTc-MIBI SPECT fusion imaging has higher accuracy and sensitivity than CT when diagnose a solitary pulmonary nodule. At present it is the best non-invasive examine method to differentiate a solitary pulmonary nodule is malignant or benign. But there are no significant difference in specificity between CT,a further improvement are necessary. The high accuracy of SPECT can reduce the quantity of fine needle aspiration biopsy and thoracotomy in patients with a benign pulmonary nodule. It can reduce the patient's pain and save the cost,so the 99mTc-MIBI SPECT fusion imaging should have a better application in future.
