ObjectiveCondylar fractures of dogs observed double plate fixation and internal fixation for fracture healing veneer of bone morphogenetic protein-2 (bone morphogenetic protein-2 BMP-2) and transforming growth factorβ1 (transforming growth factorβ, TGF-β1) in the expression of BMP-2, TGF-β1 and condylar fracture fixation relationship.MethodsThe experiment used 18 mongrel dogs caused by combat unit underwent condylar neck fracture fixation, a group of eight-line dual plate fixation, another group of eight rows veneer internal fixation, in 3d,7d,14d,28d each Group 2 animals were sacrificed, bone tissue obtained for histopathological and immunohistochemical staining. The other 2 dogs bone tissue taken as control.ResultsPart two fractures healed well; double plate group BMP-2, TGF-β1 expression was higher in the veneer fixed group; BMP-2 high expression group 7d,7d expression of the two groups was significant difference (P<0.05); TGF-β1 Unit 7d,14d high expression,7d,14d expression of the two groups was significant difference (P<0.05).ConclusionsBMP-2 and TGF-β1 in the fixation of condylar fracture healing process of sequential expression, both in the double-plate group compared with the expression of bone healing strong veneer group; the expression of two BMP-2 peak synchronization; peak expression of TGF-β1 simultaneously; BMP-2 and TGF-β1 in the two types of condylar fractures when internal fixation with the same expression, different strength. Stress the strong antagonism is more beneficial to the fixation of growth factor expression.
