Research Of The Effort Of Benefiting Vital Energy And Activating Blood Circulation On The Inflammatory Response In Acute Cerebral Infarction With Systemic Inflammatory Response Syndrome

ObjectivesTo verify the effects of Benefiting Vital Energy and Activating Blood Circulation on patients with Acute Cerebral Infarction complicated by systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS) through method of clinical curative effect. Astragalus Injection and Xuebijing Injection is carrier of Benefiting Vital Energy and Activating Blood Circulation.MethodsComplicated with acute ischemic stroke patients with SIRS was observed by using single-blind prospective randomized study. All 40 patients,10 patients were randomly divided into Qixu group, Xueyu group of 10 cases,10 cases of Qixuxueyu group and control group in 10 cases. Control group with conventional treatment; Qixu group was treated added astragalus injection; Xueyu group added Xuebijing injection; Qixuxueyu group added both astragalus injection and Xuebijing injection. Period of treatment was 7 days. Though Comparing the serum Interleukin-6 (IL-6), Tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), Procalcitonin (PCT), neuron-specific enolase (NSE), Syndrome Integral of Chinese Medicine (CM) and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) in the 4 groups, discuss the effects of Benefiting Vital Energy and Activating Blood Circulation on AIS complicated by SIRS.ResultThe value of IL-6, TNF-α, PCT, NSE, Syndrome Integral of Chinese Medicine (CM), NIHSS in 4 groups were abnormal, which was no difference among 4 groups (P>0.05) before treatment.7 days after treatment, the value of IL-6, TNF-a, PCT, NSE, Syndrome Integral of Chinese Medicine (CM) were decreased which had significant difference (P<0.05) compared to Control Group. The value of NIHSS of Qixu group and Qixuxueyu group were superior to Control Group which had significant difference (P<0.05). But there was no difference between two groups.ConclusionSIRS in acute ischemic infarction patients'IL-6, TNF-αwere increased, while the PCT increased slightly, suggesting that SIRS was caused by acute ischemic infarction. The pathological mechanism of acute ischemic infarction may be caused by changes in neuroendocrine stress-related, mediated by the TNF-α, causing a large number of inflammatory mediators such as IL-6 release, leading to the inflammatory cascade. After treatment by Benefiting Vital Energy and Activating Blood Circulation, IL-6, TNF-α, PCT were decreased than before treatment, suggesting Benefiting Vital Energy and Activating Blood Circulation can reduce blood levels of TNF-α, reduced secondary inflammatory mediators IL-6, release the inflammatory response.By Benefiting Vital Energy and Activating Blood Circulation therapy in patients with acute cerebral infarction complicated with SIRS, NIHSS score higher degree than the control group, NSE group than in the control group, suggesting Benefiting Vital Energy and Activating Blood Circulation therapy help to improve the neurological deficits. The mechanism maybe was improving microcirculation and reducing inflammation.
