ObjectiveTo compare the outcome between fallopian tube recanalization (FTR) and laparoscope combined with hysteroscope treatment through comparing the different effects in the infertility cases caused by proximal fallopian tube obstruction which had been treated by these ways of operation matching blood-activating-dispersing traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), with the purpose to provide some references for the better treatments.Methods171 infertile cases caused by proximal fallopian tube obstruction admitted in the First affiliated hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine from January 2007 to October 2009 were enrolled in this study. There were 74 cases in FTR and 97 cases in laparoscope combined with hysteroscope group. All of them had been treated by blood-activating-dispersing TCM after the operation such as oral medicine, coloclyster, topical application. Follow up for 6 months to 1 year, to compare the difference between the two groups in the rate of operative recanalization, tubal reobstruction, intrauterine pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy and fetal malformation information in one year.Result1. The rate of operative recanalization was 89.4% in the FTR group and 86.6% in the gynecological endoscope group, there was no significant difference between them (X2=0.449, P=0.503>0.05)2. One year after the operation, the unobstructed rate was 88.0% in the FTR group and 86.7% in the gynecological endoscope group, there was no significant difference between them(P>0.05).3. There was no significant difference between two groups while the intrauterine pregnancy rate was 41.9% in the FTR group and 38.1% in the gynecological endoscope group (X2=0.246,P=0.620>0.05)4. There was no significant difference between two groups as the rate of TP was 2.7% in the FTR group and 6.2% in the gynecological endoscope group (X2=0.494, P=0.482>0.05)5. The normal intrauterine pregnancy rate was 35.1% in the FTR group and 29.9% in the gynecological endoscope group (X2=0.528, P=0.467>0.05), and the unnormal intrauterine pregnancy rate was 6.8% in the FTR group and 8.2% in the gynecological endoscope group (X2=0.133, P=0.716>0.05),there was no significant difference between two groups about these indexes. 6. There was not any fetal malformation during one year after the operation.ConclusionConsider of health economics and trauma from the operation, it's better for the proximal fallopian tube obstruction infertility to prefer FTR.
