ObjectiveTo investigate the dietary status, the nutrition knowledge, attitude and behaviors of university student whose native place is Huining. Through analysis of the results to improve their nutrition and maintain the overall healthy development, to provide a basis for implementing nutrition and health education and intervention.MethodsUsing random cluster sampling method, divided the university in Lanzhou into two categories in accordance with the focus of the undergraduate and the general undergraduate. Select one university from the focus of the undergraduate and select three university from the general undergraduate, all of the students whose native place is Huining a total of 313 in that four university for the survey, make competition analyses of the them according to economic conditions, at the same time, using random sampling methods chosen 320 students whose native place is not Huining to make competition analyses with the students whose native place is Huining.Using self-designed dietary questionnaire to investigate dietary status and the nutrient intake, using 24h recall method used to conduct the survey for 3-day investigation of individual food intake. Using self-designed questionnaire to investigate of nutrition, attitude and behaviors.Results①Dietary status and the nutrient intake results show the student eat cereal-based food more than eat fruits and vegetables. Students of Huining for bean and milk intake littler than Students of Not-Huining; Boys of Huining for meat intake littler than boys of Not-Huining, (P<0.05); Girls of Huining for fruits intake littler than girls of Not-Huining, (P<0.05); Students of economic difficulty for grains,beans food,milk,meat,vegetable,fruits intake littler than students of Not- Economic difficulty (P<0.05)。②Students of Huining for energy,protein,VA intake littler than Students of Not-Huining; (P<0.05);Boys of Huining for fat,Ca intake littler than boys of Not-Huining, (P<0.05); Girls of Huining for VC,Ca intake littler than girls of Not-Huining, (P<0.05); Boys of economic difficulty for energy,protein,fat,carbohydrate,VA intake higher than girls of economic difficulty, the same to not-economic difficulty (P<0.05); Boys of economic difficulty for VC,Ca intake lower than girls of economic difficulty, the same to not-economic difficulty (P<0.05) (P<0.05); Boys of economic difficulty for energy,protein,fat,VA intake lower than boys of not-economic difficulty (P<0.05);Girls of economic difficulty for energy,protein,VC,Ca intake lower than girls of not-economic difficulty(P<0.05).③The energy from of carbohydrate account for a large proportion.④The nutrients from of plant foods account for a large proportion.⑤The heat and energy from breakfast is lower but higher from dinner of boys. The heat and energy from breakfast and dinner of girls is all lower.⑥The investigation of nutrition knowledge, attitude and behaviors show that for the basic knowledge about nutrition, the awareness of iodized salt can prevent the which disease is the highest, the awareness of pagoda for understanding meal is the lowest.⑦Students has good attitude.⑧In behavior, most students whose native place is Huining have irrational and unscientific eating behavior.Conclusion①Dietary structure of the student whose native place is Huining is irrational and unscientific.②The awareness of basic nutritional knowledge is not comprehensive and in-depth. Most students have irrational eating behavior, but they have good attitude and willing to improve their existing poor eating behavior.
