Objective:To investigate the relationship of the rs12419707 and rsl533767 locus polymorphism in Wntll gene and non-syndrome cleft lip and palate which occurs in Gansu's population.Method:Selected 110 patients with non-syndrome cleft lip and palate as experimental group and 108 normal children as control group.We detected polymorphism of the two locus in Wnt11 gene by using flight mass spectrometry, recorded and analyzed the genotype.Then used the method of case-control for statistical analysis and calculated the genotype and gene frequency of the 110 cases and that of 108 normal children.Result:Used the method of control study to discuss the genotype and allele frequency of rs 1533767 in Wnt11 gene,that of the 110 cases and that of 108 normal children.The result showedχ2=2.380, P>0.05. Compared genotype and allele frequency of different types of patients with that of normal children.Compared the group of simple cleft lip with the control group. The result was x2=9.850, P<0.05. There was a significant difference. Compared genotype and allele frequency of children with family history with that of children without family history. The result was x2=0.028, P>0.05. There was no significant difference.We used the method of control study to discuss the genotype and allele frequency of rsl533767 in Wnt11 gene,that of the 110 cases and that of 108 normal children. The result wasχ2=1.647, P>0.05. Compared genotype and allele frequency of different types of patients with that of normal children. There was no significant difference. Compared genotype and allele frequency of children with family history with that of children without family history.The result showsχ2=0.623, P>0.05 and there was no significant difference. The combined effects of two locus for NSCL/P showed no significant joint effect.Conclusion:The rs12419707 and rs1533767 locus polymorphism in Wnt11 gene may not be genetic susceptibility factors for Gansus childen with NSCL/P.
