Background Pregnancy hypertension disease is pregnancy middle-late common diseases. It can result in patients with small vasospasm, adanced disease each viscera infusion reduced, body of the damage, and even death. The disease's causes of pathogens is unclear, but the vascular endothelial cell injury, endothelial function changes during pregnancy are the direct pressure factors. We tried to use E-Tracking technology to deduce the hemal flexibility of patients with hypertension, and to response pregnancy-induced hypertension patients with vascular endothelial dysfunction early and accurately, in order to adjust to changes in early intervention to prevent the complications. Objective To explore the function of carotid arterial elasticity in late pregnancy and pregnancy concurred with hypertension in the way of quantitatively detecting the vascular elastic indexes and intima-media thickness(IMT) by echo tracking technique in hypertensive disorders in pregnancy. Methods Our study consists of 29 cases of normal late pregnancy, and the age of non-pregnant 29 female cases and 16 pregnancy women with hypertensive disorder including 13 gestational hypertension and 3pre-eclampsia. High resolution ultrasound and echo tracking technique was used to measure the vascular elastic indexes, such as stiffness parameter(β),pressure-strain elasticity modulus(Ep),arterial compliance(AC),augmentation index(AI),one-point pulse wave velocity(PWVβ), and two-dimensional structure(IMT) of bilateral common carotid arteries, then the data were analyzed statistically. Results In normal late pregnancy group,β, Ep, PWVβwere significantly higher compared with the non-pregnant group; AC was lower, and the differences were significant (P<0.05), and the differences of AI and IMT were insignificant (P>0.05). In pregnancy concurred with hypertension,β, Ep, PWVβwere significantly higher compared with the normal late pregnancy group; AC was lower, and the differences were also significant (P<0.05),. and the differences of AI and IMT were insignificant (P>0.05).Conclusion The echo tracking technique is valuable in assessing the vascular elasticity and endothelial function of normal pregnancy and hypertensive disorders in pregnancy patients, which can early indict the degrees of vascular lesions and provide evidences for the treatment and prevention of hypertensive disorders in pregnancy.
