Objective: To detect the common carotid artery and common femoral artery elasticity indicators in Hypertensive's peripheral big artery elasticity by E-tracking(ET) technique,investigate the value of ET technique in clinical evaluation of hypertensive's the early artery vessel pathological changes.Method:134 patients of primary hypertension in Affiliated Hospital of HeBei United University during January in 2010 to January in 2011,68 male and 66 female who were 28 to 64 years old,were divided into three groups,namely Level-1 Group 48 patients,Level-2 Group 45 patients and Level-3 Group 41 patients.Meanwhile, to select the 50 health volunteers with normotensive in physical examination of corresponding period,25 male and 25 female who were 31 to 58 years old were arranged as the normal control group.A high-frequency linear array probe was used for measuring both common carotid IMT while ET technique was adopted for the indicators of both common carotid and femoral arteries,namely,β,Ep,AC,PWVβ,AI ,Ds and Dd. Excel 2003 to establish a database, using SPSS (13.0) statistical analysis software for statistical analysis, all data were tested for normality, with normal distribution of measurement data as mean±standard deviation ( X±s), the means comparison between the two groups used Independent-Samples T Test; the frequencies comparison used chi-square test; Multiple groups means were compared with single factor analysis of variance.There was statistical significance( P <0.05).Results:1.Compared with the normal controlled group,each hypertension groups'intima-media thickniss(IMT) were increase. The differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05 respectively).Within each hypertension groups, There was no significant change with the carotid and femoral artery's IMT of Level-1 Group and Level-2 Group,the carotid artery's IMT of Level-2 Group and Level-3 Group,which were no difference(P>0.05 respectively). But there were remarkable difference in carotid and femoral artery's IMT(P<0.05)between Level-1 Group and Level-3 Group, the femoral artery's IMT between Level-2 Group and Level-3 Group.The IMT was more and more thickniss.2.There were statistically significant difference in carotid artery'sβ,Ep,AC,PWVβbetween groups(P<0.05,respectively),andβ, Ep and PWVβincreased gradually along with the elevation of blood pressure,but AC decreased. There were statistically significant difference in femoral artery'sβ,Ep,PWVβbetween groups(P<0.05,respectively),andβ,Ep and PWVβincreased gradually along with the elevation of blood pressure,but there were statistically significant difference in femoral artery's AC between groups(P<0.05,respectively)except between Level-1 Group and Level-2 Group(P>0.05).3.There was no significant change in carotid artery's AI between Level-1 Group and normal controlled group,Level-1 Group and Level-3 Group,Level-2 group and Level-3 Group,so which were no difference(P>0.05 respectively).But there were remarkable difference in carotid artery's AI between Level-2 group and normal controlled group,Level-3 group and normal controlled group,Level-1 Group and Level-2 Group(P<0.05 respectively). There was no significant change in femoral artery's AI between the groups ,so there was no difference(P>0.05 respectively). 4.There was significant difference in carotid artery's Ds,Dd between each hypertension Groups and normal controlled group(P<0.05 respectively),the datas of carotid artery's Ds , Dd is obviously higher in each hypertension Group than in normal controlled group. There was no difference in carotid artery's Ds between Level-1 Group and Level-2 Group,Level-2 group and Level-3 Group(P>0.05 respectively),but there were remarkable difference in carotid artery's Ds between Level-1 group and Level-3 group(P<0.05). Compared with the Level-1 group ,there was significant difference in carotid artery's Dd between Level-2 group and Level-3 Group(P<0.05 respectively). There was no difference in carotid artery's Dd between Level-2 Group and Level-3 Group(P>0.05 respectively). 5.The datas of femoral artery's Ds,Dd was no significant change between Level-1 Group and normal controlled group and Level-2 group and Level-3 Group,there was no difference(P>0.05 respectively).But The datas of femoral artery's Ds,Dd were obviously higher in Level-2 group and Level-3 Group than Level-1 Group and normal controlled group each hypertension Group than those in normal controlled group respectively. There was significant difference in femoral artery's Ds,Dd(P<0.05 respectively).Conclusion:1.We find that the carotid and femoral artery's IMT is thick and the artery's internal diameter is large with high blood pressure patients.2.β,Ep,PWVβof high blood pressure patients are increaser than he normal controlled group,but AC of high blood pressure patients is decreaser. And the arterial elasticity reduced gradually.3.The ET technique is more superiority than routine ultrasonography,which may reflect macroangiopathy the early of the carotid and femoral artery and may provide reliable evidence for clinical to earliest intervention.4. The ET technique is used in determining artery elasticity of high blood pressure patients,which shows good quality of atraumatic, accuracy , well repeatability and easy to operate,et.al. The ET technique have significant using value in diagnose, treatment, researching on macroangiopathy the early of the artery of high blood pressure patients.
