Objective:To observe the effect of Non-acute Cholecystitis with cholecystolithiasis upon the liver.Materials and method:43 cases of the patients with chronic calculous cholecystitis or symptomless cholecystolithiasis were elected as the experimental group.15 causes of the patients with gastric cancer and colon cancer were elected as the control group. Respectively, both groups accepted routine laboratory test and ultrasonic inspection. Ruling out other factors of effecting liver function as so as possible. During the surgery with general anesthesia, a piece of tissue of liver was resected from right lobe of the patients with at 4cm far from the bed of gallbladder for pathologic study. It was a size of about 0.5×0.5×0.5cm. The pieces of tissue of liver after staining by the Hematoxylin-Eosin were studied through the microscope. And, randomly, the bile was drawn about 1-2 ml for the bacterial culture from 20 cases of patients who came from the experimental group.Result:1. Routine analysis of blood:WBC was normal or Slightly higher than normal; The liver function tests:ALT,AST and TBIL were normal or Slightly higher than normal too. There was no significant impairment of liver function.2. There was only one positive sample of bacterial culture from 20 cases, It was the klebsiella oxytoca.3. There were 37 cases of patients whose liver biopsies had many pathological changes from the experimental group; There were 4 cases of patients whose liver biopsies had many pathological changes from the control group too, but their pathological changes were more minor than the experimental group.4. There is no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the Routine analysis of blood and the liver function; There is a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the pathological changes of the livers. Conclusion:both chronic calculous cholecystitis and symptomless cholecystolithiasis could bring about pathological changes of liver tissue. Consequently, the patient who is suffering from chronic calculous cholecystitis or symptomless cholecystolithiasis needs a surgery of cholecystectomy actively in the early.
