[Objiective] To evaluate the clinical significance for monitoring recurrence of bladder cancer in the use of BTAstat and Survivin together.[Methods] We test 46 bladder cancer in patients in our hospital and out-patients who are diagnosed as bladder cancer or patients with bladder cancer history by regular visits for BTAstat and Survivin, and determine "+", "-". According to analysis we know the correlation between the two , and determine the clinical significance for the early monitoring recurrence of bladder cancer in the use of BTAstat and Survivin together.[Results] 1. The Survivin and BTAstat were detected in 52 cases of bladder carcinoma patients. The sensitivity is 80.8% and 75.0% for urine Survivin and BTAstat in diagnosis of bladder carcinoma. 2. To use mcnemar of SPSS13. 0 to test experimental data, The detection of diagnosis of bladder cancer test results by Survivin with BTAstat was correlated (P<0. 05). 3. There were 26 patients with confirmed recurrence In 46 patients with follow-up cystoscopy and 20 patients with positive for Survivin and BTAsata in the 26 patients. so if two markers were positive for tumor recurrence of the diagnostic standard, the diagnostic rate of 76. 9%. However, follow-up time was shorter and some cases have not reached the end point, the result is not the final.[Conclusion] The detection of Survivin and BTAstat is feasible in the urine of patients with bladder cancer and the combined test of BTAstat and Survivin was correlated and might improve the detection rate of bladder cancer recurrence. Therefore the combination might be used as one of the monitoring methods of bladder cancer recurrence. However, further research is necessary whether it is the best option.
