The Clinical Significance In The Detetion Of NMP22,BTA And CK20 In Urine Of Bladder Cancer Patient

Objective :To assess the diagnostic value of NMP22,BTA and CK20 in the dection of bladder cancer,and to privide theoretical basis for bladder cancer.Methods:Three groups of subjects participated in these trials:Control group comparised 30 parients with transitional cell carcinona.group 1 included 30 patients with benign urological diseases.group 2 comparised 30 healthy volunteers. NMP22 and BTA of all subjects were measured using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).The expression of CK20mRNA andβ-actin in exfoliated urinary cells were determined by using RT-PCR.Results:The sensitivity of NMP22,BTA and telomerase was 90.0 %,63.3 %,86.7% ,respectively.The sensitivity of NMP22(90.0%) was significantly better than BTA(63.3%),p<0.05. The sensitivity of CK20 (86.7%) was significantly better than BTA(63.3%),p<0.05.The specificity of NMP22,BTA and CK20 was 86.7%,66.7%,83.3%, respectively ,the positive predictive values was 77.1%,48.7%,72.2%.Conclunsions:1)Urinary NMP22 is a simple,feasible and noninvasive marker for the detection of urinary bladder cancer.2) CK20 is a simple,feasible and noninvasive marker for the detection of urinary bladder cancer.3)The test of BTA is a simple,convenient and noninvasive adjunts to cystocopy for diagnosing bladder cancer.4) NMP22,BTA and CK20 may be used as three noninvasive methods in the dection of bladder cancer,which may reduce the frequency of patients needing to undergo conventional invase cystocopy.
