PartⅠStudy of the Intestinal permeability in patients with progressing psoriasisObjective:To study the intestinal permeability of patients with progressing psoriasis vulgaris.Methods:40 patients with progressing psoriasis vulgaris and 30 patients who are treated untill 70% lesions alleviated were enrolled in this study. Every experimentalist take 10g lactulose and 5g mannitol. Then, collected all unine in 6 hours. lactulose(L) and mannitol(M) were tested in urine by high performance liquid chromatograph(HPLC), calculated L and M ratio(L/M).20 healthy volunteers acted as control.Results:L/M ratio in psoriatic patients were 0.070±0.026. Which is statistically higher than control group (0.029±0.006) and post-treatment patients(0.036±0.009).Conclusion:The intestinal permeability is higher in progressing psoriatic patients, which maybe associate with the pathogenesis of psoriasis.Part IIThe effect of diets in patients with psoriasisObjective:To explore disease associated factors of psoriasis in diets and others. Methods:Questionnaires were applied to research psoriatic disease associated factors of diets and others in 200 patients with psoriasis. The 1:1 matched case-control study was conducted. A univariate logistic regress analysis and multivariate conditional logistic regression model were used.Result:Univariate analysis indicated that flour (OR= 2.214),beef (OR=3.308),mutton (OR=2.145),eating fish and shrimp (OR=1.952),red pepper (OR=2.559),onion (OR=1.519),smoking (OR=2.515),drinking (OR= 2.205),fat (OR=1.557), pickle/sauerkraut (OR=1.752) are risk factors of psoriasis; Rice (OR=0.422),coarse (OR=0.252),eggs (OR= 0.459),milk (OR=0.576),apple (OR=0.650),banana (OR=0.656),celery (OR= 0.515),eggplant (OR=0.652) are useful factors of psoriasis. Conclusions:The habits of diets may play an important role in the occurrence of psoriasis.
