Abstract/Summary:
Objective:to explore the therapeutic effects of improved the acetabular Bern around osteotomy on the treatment of developmentally native acetabulum dysplasia. Methods:retrospective analysis of the clinical data of 35 cases (52 hips) with acetabular dysplasia were operated upon with modified bernese periacetabular osteotomy in our department from January 2000 to December 2009.33 cases (50 hips) were followed up for an average of 28.9 months (10-46 months), the main clinical symptoms were followed up, measured and compared imaging index of preoperative and postoperative CE angle, Sharp angle, Shenton's line indicators. Results:All 35 patients (52 hips) with femoral head coverage were improved and got healed. The average preoperative Harris score was 73 points, the final follow-up was an average of 92 points; final followed up patients with hip pain were significantly ameliorated or disappeared, CE angle from preoperative 7.4°(-20°-16°) to 30.9°(27°-42°) after correction; Sharp angle from preoperative 48.9°(45°-58°) to 34.9°(30°-43°) after correction; Shenton's line is not continuous from 74% down to 8%.Conclusion:the acetabular Bern around osteotomy can rebuild the anatomic relationship between acetabulum and femoral head, obviously alleviate the symptoms of hip pain, prevent or delay hip osteoarthritis occurs, medium-term results were satisfied...
