Objective:To analyze occupational and non-occupational risk fators of urology tract tumor in Dalian Petrochemical Co.,Ltd.and to provide better scientific basis for prevention of urology tract tumor for Petrochemical-related groups.Methods:A 1:4 matched case-control study was carried out in ex-worker group of Dalian Petrochemical Co., Ltd. including 30 cases with bladder cancer or kidney cancer and 120 controls. Controls were matched to cases with same race,sex,younger or older 3 years old. Face-to-face questionnaires which mainly include:the general situation, occupational history, habits, diet, disease history, medication history and family history were taken, The information obtained was established a database with SPSS11.5 and analyzed with SPSS11.5. EXCEL2003 and SAS8.0 software. According to the information type,1:4 matched Chi-square test,ANOVA,and one-way conditional logistic regression analysis and multivariate analysis were used,Odds Ratio and the 95% confidence were calculated as well.Results:1,The study, which totally surveyed 150 employees, of which 30 cases,120 control,105 bladder cancer cases,45 kidney cancer cases.2,Univariate analysis showed that position in chemical work,long length of service,benzene exposure, chlorine exposure and ammonia exposure were the occupational risk factors of urology tract tumor; more consumption of meat,dessert and fried or baked food ten years ago,history of hypertension and family history of tumor were all the non-occupational risk factors of urology tract tumor. Much water intake and regular physical exercise were protective factors of urology tract tumor.3,Multivariate analysis showed that position in chemical work,long length of service,much fried or baked food ten years ago,history of hypertension were risk factors of urology tract tumor. Much water intake and regular physical exercise were protective factors of urology tract tumor.Conclusions:Bladder cancer and kidney cancer are the results of occupational and non-occupational factors.It was related to position in chemical post,long length of service,benzene exposure,chlorine exposure,ammonia exposure,more consumption of meat,dessert,fried or baked food ten years ago,history of hypertension and family history of tumor,much water intake and regular physical exercise.
