Human bone tissue defect is a very common phenomenon due to traumatic, tumor or congenital insufficiency development, especially with our country comes into old society, the clinical treatment needs a large quantity of bone substitute materials because of hard tissue lesions which caused by the old such as osteoporosis. Two kinds of projects were proposed to prepare bone biomimetic composite materials with tussah fibroin. Firstly, the HAP/TSF and HAP/CS were prepared using the co-precipitation method by hydroxyapatite (HAP), and Tussah Silk Fibroin (TSF) and Chitosan(CS) which have good biological properties. Based on those, three-phase composite materials of HAP-TSF/CS and HAP-CS/TSF were prepared. And its structure and performance of composite materials were studied. Secondly, Tussah Silk Fibroin nanofiber array, simulating bone collagen fiber array, was used to mimic bone biomimetic materials in simulated body fluid with the control of polyaspartic acid, which named simulated body fluid mineralized method. And the array nanofiber/mineral crystal composite materials were constructed, and the mineralization mechanisms were studied. In this study, HAP-TSF/CS shows good mechanical properties, which can meet the requirements of the mechanics of bone tissue engineering. TSF nanometer fiber frame which has high array was prepared and mineralizated. Mineral crystal formation and growth mechanism and array type nanofiber bionic mineralization control mechanism were studied. And these provide new ideas and theoretical bases for the design of bone biomimetic composite materials.
