The Therapeutic Effect Of Zishen Blood Capsules In The Treatment Of Consolidation Chrmotherapy For Acute Myeloid Leukemia And Its Potential Mechanism

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of Zishen Blood Capsules on hematopoietic and immunology function of in patients with acute myeloid leukemia after chemotherapy(CT), and explore its mechanism.MethodsAccording to random and control principle,the patients were divided into three groups,namely blank group (conventionnal CT),control group (Yixue Health Capsules+conventional CT) and therapy group(Zishen Blood Capsules+conventional CT).The patients'peripheral blood was measured for white blood cells(WBC),hemoglobin (Hb),platelets (PLT) and absolute neutrophil count (NE#).The changes of peripheral WBC and number of time for G-CSF were collected after CT in the hospitalized patients. Their peripheral T-cell subpopulation and its activity level,cytokine IL-3,and GM-CSF were observedResultsOn day 21 after CT, the peripheral WBC count of therapy group was higher than that of blank group (P<0.05), IL-3 levels of therapy group and control group were higher than that of blank group (P<0.05), but their GM-CSF was lower than that of blank group (P<0.05). On day 1 after CT,the ratio of CD4+HLA-DR+/CD8+HLA-DR+ in therapy group was higher than that in blank group(P<0.05).The recovery time of WBC in therapy appeared on day 10-12 after CT, but that in control group on day 16-18. The number of time for GM-CSF was 0.5per persin in therapy group,0.625 per persin in control group, 1.125 in blank group,respectively.ConclusionZishen Blood Capsules can promote patients'recovery of BM hematopoietic function,enhance body'immunity,and may strenthen CT.
