| Objective:To observe the effect of Jianpixiaoxitang(JPXXT) associated with omeprazole triple therapy on proliferative gastric polyps and explore the mechanism of it. Methods:60 patients with proliferative gastric polyps were divided into two groups at random:the experimental group and the control group. the experimental group was given Jianpixiaoxitang and omeprazole+ clarithromycin+ amoxicillin, and the control group was given omeprazole+ clarithromycin+ amoxicillin.2 weeks were set as a course of treatment.The clinical effects of each group were observed during the course and the follow-up survey of 6 months. Results:The effective of syndrome of TCM,enteroscopy observing of the experimental group are better than that of the control group (P<0.01 or P<0.05). Jianpixiaoxitang associated with western medicine can improve more significantly the symptoms such as stomachache, abdominal distention than western medicine only (P<0.01 orP<0.05). Conclusions:Jianpixiaoxitang appears to have the significant effect in the treatment of gastric hyperplastic polyps. The mechanism of this therapy may be relation to killing Hp,the modulation of immunity.
