| This dissertation is composed of two chapters. One chapter showed the isolation and identification of all kinds of compounds from Tamarix ramosissima Ledeb. and Pimpinella candolleana Wight et Arn. by bioassay guide. Nineteen compounds were isolated and twelve were identified. Andα-glucosidase inhibitory, antioxidant and anti-bacterial activity in vitro of extracts and compounds were assayed. The other reported the study progress of chemical constituent and pharmaceutical of the genus Tamarix and Pimpinella were summarized.1. The active constituents of T. ramosissima and P. candolleanaα-Glucosidase inhibitory, antioxidant and antibacterial activity of different extracts of T. ramosissima in Neimenggu and P. candolleana in Guizhou were assayed in vitro.MeOH extract from T. ramosissima had good activity. Chemical constituents of MeOH extract were isolated by column chromatography, and identified by MS and NMR spectroscopy. Seven copounds were isolated and three were identified. 7,4′-dimethoxy-kaempferol (TR-2) were isolated from this plant for the first time. And TR-2 had good antioxidant activity (IC50 = 14.64μg·mL-1) andα-glucosidase inhibitory activity (IC50 = 22.83μg·mL-1), which were reported first.The chemical constituents of EtOAc and MeOH extracts of P. candolleana were reported, which had theα-glucosidase inhibitory and antioxidant activity. Twelve compounds were isolated and nine were identified. Luteolin (PC-2), urea (PC-4), stigmasta-5,22-dien-3-ol acetate (PC-5), erythrol (PC-7), isovitexin (PC-8), 1-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1,2-ethanediol (PC-9) and daucosterol (PC-11) were isolated from this plant for the first time. Compound PC-1 (IC50 = 4.42μg·mL-1), PC-2 (IC50 = 5.96μg·mL-1), PC-5 (IC50 = 67.43μg·mL-1) and PC-8 (IC50 = 68.71μg·mL-1) showedα-glucosidase inhibitory activity. PC-2 (IC50 = 0.99μg·mL-1) had antioxidant activity.α-Glucosidase inhibitory activity of PC-5 and PC-8, as well as antioxidant activity of PC-2 were reported for the first time.2.
