| Background:PCI is the effective method to treat coronary heart disease. It saves many patients'lives, and enhances patients'quality of life. But the rate of restenosis still reaches up to 15%-25% after PCI.Tirofiban is the reversible antagonist of platelet glycoproteinⅡb/Ⅲa receptor. It can combine glycoproteinⅡb/Ⅲa receptor, and inhibit the final common pathway of platelet aggregation.Consequently,it can inhibit the expression of inflammatory protein, chemotactic, and adhesion molecule. Tirofiban can inhibit inflammatory response. Restenosis is the main clinical problem after PCI,and it is one of primal problem that we must solve. Inflammatory response is one of the mechanisms of restenosis, and it is the target that we treat restenosis. We can reduce the rate of restenosis by inhibiting inflammatory response. IL-8 and IL-1βare the new-found factors which are related to coronary heart disease and restenosis. Tirofiban can reduce the expression of IL-8 and IL-1βafter PCI.So we can draw a conclusion that tirofiban can reduce the rate of restenosis by inhibiting inflammatory response. Objectives:Observing the influence of IL-8 andl L-1βthat the patients of angina were treated by PCI.Methods:A total of 42 patients were treated by 300mg bayaspirin and 300mg Clopidogrel before PCI,and were treated by 5000U low molecular heparin, twice one day, 100mg bayaspirin, and 75mg Clopidogrel, one day at a time. All patients underwent successful stenting were divided into two groups, one group of patients (tirofiban group, n=21) and the other group (control group, n=21). Tirofiban group were treated by Tirofiban(10 ug/kg bolus infusion in 3 min and 0.15 ug/kg/min for 24 h). Peripheral venous blood samples from 42 patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) were obtained before PCI,24 hours after stenting. The concentrations of IL-8 and IL-1 (3 were determined by ELISA.Results:1.The difference of concentration of IL-8 between pre-PCI and post-PCI for 24h of control group has statistical significance(P<0.05). 2.The difference of concentration of IL-8 between control group and tirofiban group post-PCI for 24h has statistical significance(P<0.05). 3.The difference of concentration of IL-1βbetween pre-PCI and post-PCI for 24h of control group has statistical significance(P<0.05).4.The difference of concentration of IL-1 (3 between control group and tirofiban group post-PCI for 24h has statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusions:tirofiban can reduce the expression of IL-8 and IL-1βin the patients of angina after PCI. |
